One Barrel Brewing enlisted Aro Eberle’s design and planning expertise to open a new taproom and multi-tiered beer garden in Egg Harbor, WI. The central goal of this project was to create a relaxed, coastal inspired, and lively atmosphere that was authentic to the location. To achieve this, the exterior, interior and site were cohesively designed to evoke a Door County Coastal vibe – an approach that melds Cape-Cod style with a North Coast twist.
Taproom programming included production space, a retail area, an indoor/ outdoor bar, and an independently operated takeout pizza kitchen. The taproom boasts a variety of seating options, including a feature area that captures the comforts of a living room complete with soft seating, rugs, bookshelves, and knick-knacks.
The terraced patio provides space for locals and tourists alike to spread out, hear live music, play lawn games, and gather over fire pits. With an emphasis on indoor-outdoor connections and a strong sense of place, One Barrel’s Door County taproom enlivens the heart of Egg Harbor and provides a welcoming space to appreciate the mild summers of Northern Wisconsin.
